The Company
Leviathan Labs LLC is a software engineering consultancy based in Florida, founded to deliver enterprise-grade engineering at independent contractor rates. We work with companies that need senior-level backend development, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps capability without the overhead of a large consulting firm.
We also build our own products — including a Rust-powered trading strategy platform, a personal finance SaaS application, and a sports analytics engine — because we believe the best consultants are the ones who ship their own software too.
The Founder
Lead Software Engineer with Fortune 10 enterprise experience.
Engineering Background
Primary contractor for a Fortune 10 company (2023-2025), responsible for a suite of enterprise applications processing over $1 billion in yearly revenue. Led an Azure-to-AWS cloud migration that reduced infrastructure costs by 60-75% and achieved SOC 2 compliance. Built a code generation framework with 380+ templates that reduced new module development time by 80%. Managed a 9,000+ file codebase with 188+ REST endpoints across multi-environment AWS deployments. Also migrated SSO infrastructure from Azure to AWS Amplify for a startup and built custom CLI tooling for infrastructure deployment and SOC 2/ISO compliance management.
Operations Background
Prior to software engineering, served as an Outbound Supervisor at a major national freight carrier, managing union Teamsters and successfully processing around 950,000 lbs of freight per night. This operations experience directly informs the enterprise software work that followed.
